Educational and Economic Aspects of Mentoring

The OECD's skills strategy and policy highlights ahead of formal qualifications draws attention to the importance work-based learning (apprenticeships). In economy, given utilisation skill set individuals at workplace level, conscious management knowledge organisation now appears be an efficiency-increasing factor. One way do this is involve mentor economically inactive groups (students / new entrants, low-skilled social pensioners) in labour market. Mentoring should treated as a discrete area, but one that still part organisation's strategically defined human resource system, which goals, roles, processes, responsibilities benefits, well possibilities for development, are clarified.
